Orientation Training Held for Newly Enrolled Students
An orientation training program was organized for students newly admitted to our faculty by Fatma Sönmez Çakır, Head of the Department of Management Information Systems at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
The program opened with speeches delivered by our Rector, Ahmet Akkaya, and our Acting Dean, Metin Saban. During the training, many important topics were covered, including adaptation to university life, key points for achieving academic success, students’ rights and responsibilities, services available on campus, social activities, and internship opportunities.
Fatma Sönmez Çakır sincerely answered questions raised by students and provided detailed explanations on topics of interest. It was emphasized that such informative events make an important contribution by helping students adapt more quickly to the university environment and feel more confident throughout their academic journey. It was also highlighted that faculty members are always there to support students.
The orientation program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation.
