2024–2025 Spring Semester Department Academic Board Meeting with Stakeholder Participation Held

Faculty members and stakeholders of our department came together on July 4, 2025, for the Academic Board Meeting. During the meeting, in which stakeholders participated online, the following agenda items were discussed:

  • Gathering stakeholders’ opinions regarding the transition of the Department of Business Administration curriculum to a 7+1 internship semester model and their ability to provide internship opportunities
  • Evaluation of program-specific criteria
  • Informing stakeholders about the need for a new program curriculum and the planned implementation schedule
  • Requesting input from all stakeholders for the purpose of updating the program curriculum
  • Evaluating survey results together with stakeholders (graduate satisfaction survey, graduate exit survey, and employer satisfaction survey)

Stakeholder opinions regarding the above agenda items were officially recorded to be taken into consideration during curriculum revisions planned for the 2025–2026 Fall Semester.

During the meeting, faculty members also exchanged views on matters concerning the department, such as course distribution and academic advising.

The meeting concluded with the participants expressing their wishes and recommendations.
